Setting the Standard at Pinheiros Altos Golf Course

Members of Pinheiros Altos Golf Resort should set an example to their guests and all visitors by their standard of etiquette both on the Pinheiros Altos Golf Courses and in the Pinheiros Altos Clubhouse.

The rules applied on the Pinheiros Altos Golf Courses are the rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, however, some local rules should be respected during play:

  1. Manners
Poor play is acceptable, bad manners are not.
  2. Pitch Marks
Please repair at least two pitch marks on each green.
  3. Bunkers
    Rake bunkers after use.
  4. Golf Spikes
Soft spikes only on the golf course.
  5. Golf Buggies
Follow designated paths with golf buggies at all times.
  6. Tees & Greens
Do not take trolleys within 5 metres of tees or greens.
  7. Speed of Play
It is essential for groups to keep up with the game in front. Games that have lost a clear hole on the game ahead of them or need to search for a ball should let the game behind go through. Three or four ball games should allow two ball games through as appropriate. Let common sense prevail.
  8. Tournament Presentations
All competitors should attend the prize presentation of a tournament in which they have played irrespective of their position in the tournament.
